Nobody can imagine his/her office or home burning in fire. Even the level of their preparation also reflects this. It is really very much important to keep a list of emergency numbers with you. Everyone knows the emergency number 999, but getting in contact with the other staff members who are missing could save a life.

Each and every of the staff members should also have a clear and good knowledge of the location of all the fire extinguishers and alarm points also. And the fire extinguisher training must also be given to all the staff members.

Also the heavy fire doors should not be wedged open ever. It does not matter at all how inconvenient it may be for all the staff members to do their jobs if the heavy fire doors are permanently being held open.

Use this and also your own common sense to be at the safe ends, and you should also have your fire safety documents sorted.
