The Cell Sites are called as Cell tower locations where the antennas and electronic equipment are located to provide the network for mobile phones or Cell phones. These sites are normally located on the property that is owned neither by the tower companies nor the wireless carriers. They take this property either on lease or no license from the property owner.

This is also recognized as a profitable business for the property owners and hence they also show interest in providing the land for lease. Most of the Cell Towers are built on the buildings rather than on the land as to provide a better network facility. There also something called as Concealed cell sites or Stealth cell sites which are located in preserved trees or structures. Sometimes these towers are located in Church Steeples and also in Mock Chimneys depending on the requirement..

All the cell towers have a separate bandwidth set for the emergency calls. Basically the number of cell towers depends on the population and the usage of the cell phone. So, if the area is highly populated then the number of cell towers also will be high.

Hence as this is a Win-Win situation for Tower companies, Wireless carriers as well as the Owners the business so far is pretty successful.
